At Short Stays UK, we work with property owners to market and manage holiday lets, offering a flexible service that’s tailored to your requirements.
Whether you’re new to holiday letting or have years of experience, we can support you in the way that works best for you. Some owners simply choose us to market their property and manage bookings, while others prefer a fully managed service where we oversee the day-to-day running of their holiday let.
Our services can include marketing, booking management, guest communications, pricing, housekeeping coordination, maintenance and owner support. If you’d rather carry out your own cleaning, enjoy making bespoke welcome packs, or remain involved in other aspects of your property, we’re happy to work around you.

Ian is the Co-Founder and Director of Short Stays UK, bringing extensive experience in the holiday letting and property management sector.
Since establishing the business, Ian has focused on building a company that helps property owners maximise the potential of their holiday lets through professional marketing, booking management and tailored property management services. His practical approach and commitment to high standards have helped Short Stays UK develop a strong reputation for delivering reliable, transparent and flexible support to property owners.
Ian works closely with both owners and the Short Stays UK team to ensure every property receives the attention it deserves. He believes that successful holiday letting is built on strong relationships, clear communication and a service that’s tailored to each owner’s individual requirements.
Under Ian’s leadership, Short Stays UK continues to grow while remaining committed to providing a personal service that puts property owners and guests at the heart of everything it does.

Great place to stay, walkable to Exeter Centre and quay. Mill On The Ex pub is a couple of doors away. The beds where comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed. Would happily stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, felt right at home. It was super cosy and the kitchen was very well equipped to make our dinner/breakfast. Instructions were very clear and Ian was very speedy to reply 🙂 The beds were super comfy and it was within walking distance of loooads of nice restaurants and bars. Mill on the Exe is very close and is a gorgeous pub. Would definitely come again.

Lovely cosy cottage in a quiet spot overlooking the river Exe. Easy walking distance in to the town centre & Quay area. The cottage was clean & comfortable & well equipped. We would recommend & stay there again.
